Windowed and/or Fullscreen - Guild Wars Forums

Hi,

I did a search on this, but didn't come up with anything.

Is GW played in a window or is it fullscreen, or do you have the option of switching between the two. I enjoy playing games in a window so that I can quickly swap back to other things like MSN and Yahoo. But if you can't switch easily, it doesn't really matter and I'd play it in fullscreen - at least that way most people won't be annoying me on IM because I can't answer them.

I think I might just play fullscreen anyway, even if there is a windowed option... I know most online games don't allow windows because it makes it easier for hackers, and even sometimes disables Alt+Tab

The beta client can be minimized and windowed. Dunno about the release version.

You can play in either modes, you'll see the little maximise and minimise icons on the top right corner when playing.

Thanks both of you! I think I'll get a feel for both and see if it's easy to multitask while playing
